PARAGOULD, Ark. — Family members, friends, and residents of the Paragould community are mourning the tragic loss of Dale Shelton, 45, who died following an ATV accident Monday night in Northeast Arkansas.
According to a preliminary crash report, Shelton was operating an all-terrain vehicle when the ATV left the roadway while negotiating a turn. The vehicle subsequently struck a telephone pole, causing Shelton to be ejected. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene despite emergency response efforts.
