ZANESVILLE, Ohio — Family members, friends, and residents of the Zanesville area are mourning the tragic loss of 20-year-old Cruize Bitler, who died following a motorcycle crash on Interstate 70 on Wednesday evening, June 10, 2026.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the fatal accident occurred at approximately 6:43 p.m. on Interstate 70 eastbound near milepost 157 in Muskingum County.
Investigators reported that Bitler was traveling eastbound on a motorcycle when he lost control of the vehicle. The motorcycle left the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. Emergency personnel responded quickly to the scene, but despite their efforts, Bitler was pronounced dead at the location of the crash.
