PATCHOGUE, N.Y. — Family, friends, and members of the Patchogue community are mourning the tragic loss of 23-year-old Jordan Nasir St. Fort Colin, who died following a devastating head-on collision on the Bethpage State Parkway.
According to authorities, the fatal crash occurred Friday morning at approximately 9:30 a.m. when a 2019 Hyundai Sonata reportedly crossed the double yellow line and struck Jordan’s 2012 Nissan Altima head-on.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and provided aid, but Jordan tragically succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision.
Those who knew him are remembering a young man described as kind-hearted, compassionate, and full of promise. Friends and family say he brought warmth and positivity to those around him, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Jordan is being mourned by family members, friends, classmates, and community members, all of whom are grappling with the sudden and heartbreaking loss. He is remembered for his warm spirit, determination, and ability to connect with others from all walks of life.
Although his life was cut tragically short, loved ones say his memory will endure through the relationships he built and the lives he touched.
